Strength is a coaching program for leaders and professionals who have questions or needs around functioning in their current job/role and context. They are highly equipped, have made sizeable steps. They want to further strengthen themselves, see essences, create more flow of energy, co-develop with their role. Core is that they want to be successful in their work and organization, in accomplishing goals in a way that fits: they want authenticity and effectiveness to go hand in hand.
Underlying this often means working towards more awareness, more clarity about own patterns and essences. From there, creating more focus – more openness/intimacy (connection) – more spontaneity and more integrity (in the sense of wholeness). Try different behaviour and embed it.
Scope and timeframe
An orientation meeting and 5 to 8 individual meetings. Time frame is 3-8 months.
Approach
An orientation meeting and a meeting together with the principal serve to discuss the context (job, organization, current issues) and the development objectives and to formulate these specifically. With mutually agreed objectives, the coaching can start.
Roughly the process steps will then be:
The client forms an overview of qualities, feedback and support. We identify present issues, aspects and projects in which development objectives actually play a role and where development has most impact. We focus and ensure action, so that the client progresses from concrete experience: identifies what works and what a logical next step will be to accomplish intent and goals. Reflecting and challenging then serves to accelerate the process, so that changes become well anchored. The client establishes how to embed strengthened and new repertoire. In a closing meeting, the client loops back to the principal with the coach.
Results
The nature of development issues and underlying patterns can vary widely. Concrete experience shows that clients, with help of coaching and role development, accomplish results such as:
- In a new job, move faster on issues critical for performance in the role and context – see, take and make role swiftly
- Break with a pattern that has become ineffective over time and explore and practice new repertoire to work with more energy and impact
- More confidence to connect with others from their own essence, strengths and potential and to more effectively tap into the strengths and potential of others
- Take on issues more openly and rapidly – move towards the tensions, give more effective feedback to others to take theri role and tap into their essence, strengths and potential.
